a bear, barely.
bearlee is bear, wearing barely as a coat and barely coping.
not the aspirational kind of barely, not that 2am energy that got you setting alarm for 6am to make your dreams come true. the kind where you got up, got dressed, and that already counts as a small, undocumented victory.
we make clothes for people who are barely holding it together and have quietly made peace with that. no hustle language. no moralizing. no exclamation marks, no loud gimmicks.
the bear a small, round bear, trying it’s best..
the footnote every bearlee design works the same way: a confident claim up top, and a small, quiet relevant quote underneath it. sometimes it contradicts the quote above it, others it completes it.
trying my best*
*allegedly
that gap, between what we say and what we actually mean, is the whole brand 🙂
no flag-waving our fabrics are organic cotton. we’re not going to build a moral argument out of a t-shirt. if it ever comes up, the honest version is: the bear is trying harder than you are.
